Winter Blitz Results @ Flowers HS

We finished 4th overall out of 16 schools, missing 3rd by only a few points.

We had a number of top 3 finishers.

Senior, Marco Mata placed 1st. and tool home a gold medal in the 113 weight class.

Freshman, Geoffery Love wrestled his first varsity matches and finished 2nd place, for a silver medal in the 120 weight class.

Freshman, Henry Benitez wrestled some tough matches on Saturday to bring home a 3rd place finish in the 106 weight class.

Senior, Jose Carillo, wrestled and won four challenging matches on Saturday to finish third place in the 195 weight class.

Lastly, Nicholas Libcke bounced back after a surprising loss on Friday night. He dominated his opponents on Saturday to easily claim a third place finish in the 220 weight class.
