Our Wildcats finished their 2016 cross country season with one qualifier for MPSSAA CC State Championships. Junior, Yeabsera Teferra finished 11th overall in a field of 70 runners. His time was 18:24.52. Teferra will compete at Hereford High School on Saturday, November 12, 2016. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am

The Lady Wildcats played phenomenally on Friday, November 4, 2016 vs. DuVal as they defeated the Lady Tigers 3-1. The first match DuVal was victorious however we were determined to press forward. The first set was close 22 – 25, we had some costly mishaps but we played with authority; despite the lost. The next set we took a commanding lead and never let up winning 25-8. Set 3 we captivated the crowd with a 25-14 victory and closed out the final set with a 25-14 win. Our next game we travel to High Point to take on the Lady Eagles. As we move forward to the next round, we look hopeful. The game will be played on Monday, November 7, 2016. Time still to be determined. Please check our website for more details

Northwestern Lady Wildcats will host the first round of play in the volleyball playoffs on Friday, November 4, 2016. The match will begin at 6 pm and we will host the Lady Tigers of DuVal. Mark the calendar and come out to wish the Lady Wildcats to victory. Entry to this event will be $6.00. We hope you can attend! LETS GO WILDCATS….

The Wildcats played an intense game vs. Laurel on November 1, 2016. We went to double overtime and advanced to next round of play. The score was tied 3-3 but we advanced due to penalty kicks. The Wildcats will travel to Parkdale to take on the Panthers on Friday, November 4, 2016. The game will begin at 2:45 pm because Parkdale will host the girls next round as well. If you are in the area and would like to keep the momentum going, come out to cheer us onto VICTORY!! We welcome your support…

Good Afternoon Wildcats
If you have not already heard, the boys and girls soccer teams advanced to the second round of post-season play. The Wildcats will play today at 3 and 5 respectfully. The boys will travel to Laurel to take on the Spartans and the girls will travel to High Point to take on the Lady Eagles.
On Friday, Northwestern hosted a doubleheader. The boys played Bladensburg. We defeated the Mustangs 1-0. The girls played Laure. We defeated the Lady Spartans 6-1.
Please help us keep this momentum going and come out to cheer us onto VICTORY. The cost for all guests will be $6.00. If you are in the area of Laurel and High Point, we would love to see you in the stands!!!
The boys will leave today at 1:15 pm and the girls will depart for High Point at 3:30 pm. Thanks in advance for your continued support.
