The Northwestern Athletic Program would like to thank all the parents that allowed Northwestern to have such awesome swimmers for the last four years. We say goodbye to a phenomenal crew which leaves a great legacy behind. This group has created a wealth of friendship, sportsmanship, and love for the sport that I’ve ever witnessed. Not to mention the 4 records they left for others to work towards. I present to you our Northwestern Swim Team Seniors!

Our Wildcats finished their 2016 cross country season with one qualifier for MPSSAA CC State Championships. Junior, Yeabsera Teferra finished 11th overall in a field of 70 runners. His time was 18:24.52. Teferra will compete at Hereford High School on Saturday, November 12, 2016. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am

The Wildcats played an intense game vs. Laurel on November 1, 2016. We went to double overtime and advanced to next round of play. The score was tied 3-3 but we advanced due to penalty kicks. The Wildcats will travel to Parkdale to take on the Panthers on Friday, November 4, 2016. The game will begin at 2:45 pm because Parkdale will host the girls next round as well. If you are in the area and would like to keep the momentum going, come out to cheer us onto VICTORY!! We welcome your support…

Good Afternoon Wildcats
If you have not already heard, the boys and girls soccer teams advanced to the second round of post-season play. The Wildcats will play today at 3 and 5 respectfully. The boys will travel to Laurel to take on the Spartans and the girls will travel to High Point to take on the Lady Eagles.
On Friday, Northwestern hosted a doubleheader. The boys played Bladensburg. We defeated the Mustangs 1-0. The girls played Laure. We defeated the Lady Spartans 6-1.
Please help us keep this momentum going and come out to cheer us onto VICTORY. The cost for all guests will be $6.00. If you are in the area of Laurel and High Point, we would love to see you in the stands!!!
The boys will leave today at 1:15 pm and the girls will depart for High Point at 3:30 pm. Thanks in advance for your continued support.
