Boys & Girls Soccer Advance!!!

Good Afternoon Wildcats🐾🐾

If you have not already heard, the boys and girls soccer teams advanced to the second round of post-season play.  The Wildcats will play today at 3 and 5 respectfully. The boys will travel to Laurel to take on the Spartans and the girls will travel to High Point to take on the Lady Eagles.
On Friday, Northwestern hosted a doubleheader. The boys played Bladensburg. We defeated the Mustangs 1-0. The girls played Laure. We defeated the Lady Spartans 6-1.
Please help us keep this momentum going and come out to cheer us onto VICTORY. The cost for all guests will be $6.00. If you are in the area of Laurel and High Point, we would love to see you in the stands!!!
The boys will leave today at 1:15 pm and the girls will depart for High Point at 3:30 pm. Thanks in advance for your continued support.

Boys Soccer vs. High Point – Last Game of the Season

Northwestern Boys’ Soccer team won its final regular season game vs. High Point H.S. 3 to 1 in a very intense game from start to finish. The game was very emotional with one player from High Point getting injured during the final point scored during the game. Congratulations to the coaching staff with this victory as we move into post season play next week, we need to keep this momentum going to Divisional Championships. Below are some action shots from the game. The Wildcats record is 7-1-3

Team Standings – Boys & Girls Soccer

As we move into the final week of competition, our Lady Wildcats are in good position for postseason play. The girls will travel to Bowie High School to take on the Lady Bulldogs at 3 pm. The Lady Wildcats come back on Thursday, October 20, 2016, for a make-up game versus High Point for their final home game of regular season. On Friday, October 21, 2016, the Lady Wildcats will travel to Central for their final game of regular season play. Listed below are the team standings as of October 16, 2016.

Boys soccer had a rocky middle but are coming off a great victory over Gwynn Park on Thursday night as we move to the final week of play. The Wildcats will host Bowie on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 3 pm and travel to High Point on Thursday for their final game of the regular season. This game will begin at 5 pm because the Eagles will be recognizing their seniors. Listed below are the team standings standings as of October 16, 2016.
